Bakeries needed an Enterprise Resource Planning solution to effectively
manage materials usage, capacity planning and costing in a multi-plant
environment. The new solution had to be integrated, cost-effective
and implemented quicklyin 7 plant locations.
Committed to providing accurate and instant enterprise-wide information
based on Microsoft SQL Server, Ceecom Software was chosen by Weston
Bakeries to ensure that their world-class manufacturing operation
will be improved using the Ceecom ERP System.

At the Weston
Bakeries installation, the Ceecom System has been configured and
customized to optimally meet Weston's business requirements. The
modules implemented include Sales Order Processing, Sales Analysis,
Inventory, Bill Of Material, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing,
Costing, Master Production Schedule, Material Requirements Planning,
Shop Floor Control and Work Order Management.
The Just-in-Time
system processes thousands of sales order lines coming from hundreds
of sales representatives, distribution centres and supermarkets,
and through work order management, they turn into over 400 consolidated
work orders per day. Work orders are closed daily in a one-step
automated process. Each plant maintains its own formulations. Inventory
is backflushed every day.
